New
Game Rules
The great thing about collectible card games is that they are constantly
expanding and evolving into a stronger more entertaining games. That means
that as future expansions add new cards to the game, they also, on many
occasions add new TYPES of cards, new game mechanics, which create all
new strategies and twists in the game. As new game mechanics and card
types come to the forefront of the Buffy CCG, look for them to be explained
right here. Below the new rules that were introduced with the Angel's Curse expansion.
Event
Cards: How do they work?
Event cards represent the consequence of life on the Hellmouth. They are
part of the Resource Deck and are played at the end of the Prologue Step.
You are allowed only 1 copy of each Event card in your deck and they are
sent the Crypt after use. Only 1 copy of each Event Card can be Played
in a game.
Angel
vs. Angelus:
For the purposes of the Duplicate Character Card Limits explained on page
33 of the Pergamum Prophecy Rulebook, Angel and Angelus are considered
to be the same character. Otherwise treat them as seperate characters.
"Character
only" cards:
If a card states that it can only be used by a certain character (Example:
Buffy only), you are only allowed to included that card in your deck if
the indicated character matches your Essence card.
